Program Overview

Earning money with the Sing & See Affiliate Program is easy - we do all the hard work of selling and delivering the products, customer support, etc while you earn cash for every sale that you refer - up to $35 per sale (depending on what version of the product the customer buys and what commission level you achieve). We pay a basic commission of 25 percent on each software sale referred and a premium commission rate of 35 percent for affiliates who can achieve higher sales. Singing Teacher affiliates can get 40 percent commission.

How the program works

When you join the Sing & See affiliate program you get access to your own control panel on our site. There you can get banners and text links to promote our site. Each link has a special code that identifies any visitors who click on that link as having been referred by you.

When you refer someone to us who then chooses to buy one of the Sing & See products, you will receive a percentage of his or her purchase as a "reward" to thank you for helping to spread the word about Sing & See.

Real-Time Statistics And Reporting

Your affiliate control panel also allows you to check your statistics, sales, traffic, account balance - all updated in real time as traffic comes in. These statistics allow you to fine-tune your campaigns by showing you how each of your banners and links are performing.

Affiliate Program Details

Website affiliates: Up to 35% per sale!!

We have set up tiered commission levels to recognise the extra effort required to achieve high levels of sales. All affiliates start on the basic rate of 25% commission on software products and 10% on packages (which have a much smaller margin). The commission on book sales is a flat 10%. Affiliates who can achieve monthly sales targets are automatically placed in a higher commission level. The following table details the sales targets for each commission level:

Because we recognise that some affiliates may have irregular traffic due to the nature of their marketing campaigns (e.g. newsletter mailouts), once you've earned a premium commission level you will stay there as long as your monthly sales stay above 3/4 of the target. So if you have one "off" month but otherwise are exceeding the sales boundary you will stay in the higher commission tier.

Although our prices may change occasionally, here is an example of what you would earn for a few of the product options we sell:

• Student Version of Sing & See: This costs $59, so the basic 25% commission gives you $14.75 and the premium 35% commission would give you $20.65.
• Professional Version of Sing & See: This costs $139, so you get a commission of $34.75 at the basic rate and $48.65 at the premium rate!
• Teacher's Pack: This costs $219, so with the basic 10% commission you get $21.90 and at the premium 20% level you get $43.80.
  ** NB, as part of the sales process we do offer periodic discounts on the full prices, so the actual prices charged may vary from time to time. Also, prices are presented to customers in their own currency where possible, in which case your commission will be calculated at the equivalent US Dollar value.

Teacher Affiliates: up to 40% per sale!!

We have created a special affiliate category for singing teachers who are able to put a link to Sing & See on their website or in their newsletters. We recognise that your recommendation carries special weight - and also that in recommending Sing & See to your students you are probably already spending time using it with your students. We think that one-on-one teaching is very important and want to encourage students to use Sing & See with their teachers, as well as in their own practising. As their teacher, you will probably want to give them appropriate exercises to use at home with Sing & See.

To apply for the Teacher Affiliate level, we ask you to provide your Sing & See Product Key, and a short description of how you are using Sing & See in your studio. We will put this on our website together with a link back to your studio website.

The commission rate we pay teachers is 40% on software sales, 10% on books, and 20% on packages. To apply, fill in the signup form and include your Product Key and a short description of how you use Sing & See in your teaching.

What do I need to become an affiliate?

Our affiliate system works by specially encoded links to our website, so you need some way of getting potential customers to click on your affiliate links and visit our website. Generally, the easiest way is if you have a website already, to place the link or one of our banner ads onto your website. You can also insert links into your blog, social network page (eg facebook), or e-mail newsletter.

How do I know I will be paid for my referral?

We use a custom affiliate software called Post Affiliate Pro, which uses a combination of 1st party "cookies" and IP address lookup to track referrals with the best possible reliability, even with cookies disabled. When someone clicks on your affiliate link and comes through to our site, the affiliate system registers this referral and the IP address of the computer in its database. It then places a cookie on the person's computer so that when (if) that person goes on to purchase a product, that sale can be matched up to your affiliate account. Immediately after payment has been made, the affiliate system checks for the presence of an affiliate cookie on the visitor's computer, or checks if the IP address has been stored in the database. If it finds a match to a referral from you, your account will be credited with the commission. This process is entirely automatic. All your referrals will be properly tracked.

How will I be paid?

At present we use Paypal to send payments to our affiliates. Payments are made monthly, with a minimum payment amount of $50. All commissions are in US dollars, although we can pay you in some other currencies by prior arrangement.

What is the affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a special URL where you will be sending the visitors. The URL links to a page on our site, and also includes a unique "affiliate ID" code that tells our software that the visitor came from you.

Yes, the basics of affiliate marketing and some useful tips are described in your affiliate panel when you log in. We can also recommend some books and other sources of information on affiliate programs, and occasionally send out newsletters to our affiliates with tips and other information.
